St. Paul’s offers various volunteer opportunities organized into three sections: Service to the Parish, Service to the Faith and Service to the Community, but there are other things that we recognize we will need to consider. They are not in place now, but we will start to work on them in the near future. If you are interested in volunteering with St. Paul’s for one of our “Waiting in the Wings” projects, please call us at 416- 364-7588 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pan Am Welcoming Committee: The Pan Am Village will be located a block from St. Paul’s. We will form a committee to plan activities and liturgies during the two weeks in July 2015 when the Americas are on St. Paul’s doorstep.
Hosts in The Church: St. Paul’s is a church of extraordinary beauty. When we develop a group of volunteers who can welcome visitors, explain the history of St. Paul’s and explain the many decorative features that are part of the church, this will allow us to keep the church open for periods of time especially on the weekends for those who wish to visit.
Eucharistic Adoration: When it can be managed practically. The issue is security. We will invite the faithful to take time for Eucharistic Adoration. Those who wish to commit to this service will commit to a regular hour of devotion.
